Facilities

B & L Mechanical has facilities in Greenville, SC and LaGrange, GA. South Carolina’s facility operates from an 8 acre tract with adequate room for expansion located at the east side of Donaldson Center in Greenville, South Carolina.

Our Fabrication Shop has 16,000 square feet of manufacturing area and is equipped with overhead electric hoists for efficient handling of raw stock as well as work in process. A brief summary of our shop facilities follows:

1. Plasma and oxy-acetylene cutting
2. Shearing up to 1/4” x 10’
3. Two (2) hydraulic press breaks with capacity up to 1/4” x 10’
4. Rolling up to 1” x 4’ and 1/4” x 10’
5. Tig, mig, heli-arc, electrode and oxy-acetylene welding
6. Cutting tables and power fed in-line cutting and welding equipment
7. 35 ton and 90 ton iron workers for metal punching and forming
8. 5’ & 10’ box and pan breaks
9. Layout tables, lockformers, Pittsburgh machines and various sheet metal equipment
10. Painting of fabricated goods

B & L Mechanical has adequate field tools, pipe machines, welding machines, forktrucks, “air glide” heavy equipment movers, etc. to support our field work forces in an effective and efficient manner.

All office systems are fully computerized to assure an uncommon degree of responsiveness and control of our business. Our Job Cost reporting system provides complete updated weekly information.
